Tonight's ICM poll for the Sunday Telegraph will only increase the thermometer result for the political patient.
No one knows what June 4th will bring for the patient or indeed what emergency treatment may be administered. But before any emergency surgery is undertaken let us give the patient a proper diagnosis that will serve it in the long term.
