Bleeding love?

The bewildering events of the past four days have cut several of Brown's political veins. But a cut vein does not have to be life threatening.

However, cutting an artery is far more serious. There are three people who could cut Brown's:

(1) Ed Balls;

(2) Harriet Harman;

(3) Sarah Brown.

So why would they?

Quite simply in Ed Balls' case it would be revenge. Harriet Harman would cut the artery in order to save her own political life. Sarah Brown would take her husband to one side and tell him to think about the children. At this moment it seems that Sarah Brown is the most likely candidate to perform the operation.
