Ready, Speaker, Go!

Polls have opened in the election for the next Speaker of the House of Commons.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the next Speaker of the House of Commons is likely to be from the blue corner with Ann Widdecombe and John Bercow the frontrunners.

However it is also a three horse race between Margaret Beckett, John Bercow and Ann Widdecombe.

As for when we are likely to know money could perhaps be put on an early decision being reached.
