It should remind you of Brown’s now infamous “British jobs for British workers” comment. We saw the reaction that got. Now it seems like Brown has turned on his tin ear again and come up with a soundbite rather than an effective solution to the chronic housing shortage in this country. This may sound daft but surely the past twelve years should have seen decent and affordable homes built and derelict homes taken over and refurbished?
