For eight days now the only story in town has been "expenses, expenses, expenses".
The response from Westminster has made MPs look like they are from another planet.
However we may finally be witnessing the shuttle's return to earth, with the suspension of Elliot Morley from the green benches and the Labour Party.
This should be just the start and not the finish though.
